Our service time is at 10:00 AM every Sunday, and the service typically lasts 50 minutes.
Our second service location is at Maysville Methodist Church; worship there begins at 11:00 AM every Sunday.
Harrod Methodist Church is located at 100 N. Oak St. Harrod, OH 45850.
Maysville Methodist Church campus is located at 1250 South Hardin Rd. Harrod, OH 45850 (about 1/2 mile south of State Route 309 on County Line Road).
We believe the sound of silence is louder than the sound of noisy kids, and welcome children to participate in the worship service as Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven," (Matthew 19:14, ESV).
Some Sundays we do offer what we call "Sunday Morning Live!" with the children going downstairs to the Annex/Sunday School room part of the building for children's church. "Sunday Morning Live!" is led by volunteers who have been screened with a background check, and most are also school teachers by trade or are involved with the local elementary school system's volunteer activities as well.
Since "Sunday Morning Live!" is an unpaid service program, not every Sunday will have "Sunday Morning Live!" available. In those cases, the children are welcomed and encouraged to worship in the sanctuary.

Yes, we live stream our worship services on a mounted Mevo camera, and broadcast on our Harrod Methodist Church Facebook page.
The camera is calibrated to show the altar area, pulpit, and front steps to altar area. Only the first pew is seen on the live stream.
No, we do not offer online giving yet at Harrod Methodist Church. If you feel the urge to give, you may send a check to Harrod Methodist Church at P.O. Box 199 Harrod, OH 45850. You may also give cash donations during our Sunday worship service.
Yes, we offer communion (sometimes called the Eucharist) on the first Sunday of the month.
We do offer one baptism for the forgiveness of sins and rites to membership in the Church universal. Our heritage is Wesleyan, where anyone of any age can be baptized once. Since this is an act of God, we do not re-baptize persons even if they have "backslid" and want to be baptized again to show their devotion to God. God is perfect and holy, and to re-baptize someone is to proclaim God made a mistake in that ritual. If anyone wants to remember or have faith in their one baptism, a service of baptismal remembrance can be held.

Yes, you may reserve the Annex for your special birthday, anniversary, graduation celebration event. You may do so by filling out our building use form by clicking here.
Our charge is $100 cleaning fee to non-members for our custodian traveling here for a special cleaning service after the event.
4-H groups, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and other non-profit organizations needing a meeting space are exempt, and any free-will offering is appreciated.
Yes, we are proud to offer a safe and fun modern playground area at the north end of the property. Seating is available for parents/guardians and adults who are supervising play.
